MOAS’ Bangladesh Journey

Since late August, hundreds of thousands of Rohingya refugees fleeing violence and persecution have crossed the border from Myanmar to Bangladesh. MOAS was among the first to respond, throwing our resources and expertise behind the establishment of a program to provide medical care and aid to those in desperate need.

Since the opening of our first Aid Station on October 14th, we have treated over 4,000 people and delivered 20 tonnes of aid to the region. With the help of our supporters we continue to stand on the front line of this humanitarian crisis, giving support and hope to the most persecuted minority in the world.

In this mini documentary, we explore the development of this emergent crisis and give an insight into MOAS’ journey in Bangladesh so far.

You can find more powerful images of our work in Bangladesh in this photostory, or hear about the conditions in the refugee camps in our latest podcast.  To support our mission, donate whatever you can to MOAS, and make sure to stay tuned for updates on our progress.
